Terms of Service

These terms apply to svgmmaacademy.com, our online forms, and the emails and text messages SVG MMA Academy (“SVG,” “we,” “us”) sends. By using the site or signing up for messages, you agree to them.

Using this website

You may use this site to learn about SVG, book classes, sign up and manage your membership. Please give accurate information on our forms, keep your login details private, and do not misuse the site, for example by trying to break into it, disrupt it, or collect other people’s information. Class times, prices and offers can change, and the information on the site may occasionally be out of date or contain errors.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Classes, waivers and memberships

Taking part in any class, trial class, open mat or sparring session at SVG is governed by the waiver and release you sign and, for members, your membership agreement, both handled through Gymdesk. Those documents control billing, cancellations and the risks of training. If they conflict with these terms, they take priority. A parent or guardian must sign for anyone under 18.

SMS terms

Program: SVG MMA Academy updates, such as the SVG Performance app launch, schedule changes and gym news. Texts are sent from +1 (915) 465-2201.

Opting in: you join by entering your mobile number on one of our forms and checking the box agreeing to receive texts. Consent is not required to buy anything or to train with us.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to cancel at any time. You’ll get one confirmation text, and then no more messages unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help, or email manager@svgmmaacademy.com.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Our content

The SVG name, logos, photos, videos and other content on this site belong to SVG MMA Academy or are used with permission. You may view and share pages for personal, non-commercial use. Anything else, such as copying, editing or selling our content, needs our written permission.

Limitation of liability

The site and our messages are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, SVG is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages from your use of the site or our messages, or for problems caused by third-party services such as booking, payment or messaging providers. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content. Liability for training activities is governed by your signed waiver. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of El Paso County, Texas, unless your signed waiver or membership agreement says otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site or to receive our texts after a change means you accept the updated terms.
